For those of you who don’t know, Paul Grey (also known as #2 or Pig) was the bassist from the ever powerful and popular band Slipknot. He was a founding member, and one of the original three that was still playing the instrument that he started off with.
In big bands, bassists don’t get a lot of exposure, or even that much attention, but with Pig handling his left-handed bass, he stood out on stage and always gave 200%. In his personal life, he was quiet, respected and ever respectful.
So, it is with a heavy heart that all the maggots around the world bid him farewell. He’s gone to play with Dio in that never-ending concert in the sky.
Pig, you will be missed.
